Ingredients

  • 2 cups poha (flattened rice)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Poha

  • Rinse the poha in water for a few seconds and drain immediately. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften. Do not over-soak.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt and sugar over the poha, and mix gently.

2. Toast the Peanuts

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add peanuts and roast until golden and crunchy. Remove and set aside.

3. Make the Tempering

  • In the same pan, heat oil and add Wabhai Foods Mustard Seeds. Let them splutter.
